when i say companies misusing our data you probably might be thinking of Facebook,google
these companies , not only these there are lot more other companies working in the shadows selling our data to make more and more money
it need not to be necessarily a company it can be an app that you use daily for workout ,the app that you used to read news online
most of the websites you visit contains cookies.
if you wonder what they can do, they can keep track of your online presence like what things you like what are the things you are interested in ,they may also keep track of what are the other websites that you have visited, what are your political beliefs. if you dig deeper there gonna be a lot more
