Breaches, in general, are actually rare, but when they happen, as we have seen, there are a lot of records that get stolen all at once.

 Here i am going to talk about the biggest scandal that is happening in the name of privacy.

People give off their information too willingly  without even realizing what could probably happen.

Internet know a lot more about you than you realize.
every post you like, every place you visit,everything you buy online, every news you read online ,every bit of this data is collected  and sold

when i say  companies misusing our  data you probably might be thinking of Facebook,google
these companies  , not only these there are lot more other companies working in the shadows selling our data to make more and more money

it need not to be necessarily a company it can be an app that you use daily for workout ,the app that you used to read news online

most of the websites you visit contains cookies.

if you wonder what they can do, they can keep track of your online presence like what things you like what are the things you are interested in ,they may also keep track of what are the other websites that you have visited, what are your political beliefs. if you dig deeper there gonna be a lot more

if you ever wondered what they could do with this information
there is specifically an industry worth of 200 billion dollars $  where data is exchanged and sold to the  companies who ever need it by the databrokers
